Vinous Josh Raynolds - 01 Oct 17
Glass-staining ruby. Dark berry liqueur, fruitcake, smoky oak and vanilla on the deeply perfumed nose. Stains the palate with pliant black and blue fruit, mocha and floral pastille flavors, while peppery spice and mineral nuances add lift and back-end cut. Fleshy and deep but surprisingly lively as well, thanks to a core of juicy acidity. Finishes on a youthfully tannic note, displaying excellent focus and fruity persistence.
